I had been waiting for Wilco to solve supposed bandwidth issues so you could once again stream their new album from their website before posting about them.  But the news of Jay Bennett’s passing, via Ian, made me decide to go ahead anyway.  As an instrumental part of Wilco on Summerteeth, Being There and probably my favorite album of all time Yankee Hotel Foxtrot makes it quite sad news.  His departure/dismissal from the band and uneven relationship with Jeff Tweedy is well documented in both text and video.  At only 45 years old it is certainly an untimely and unfortunate death…
